FAQ
Questions about the platform, your data and how to buy it
Grouped by topic. If yours is not here, write to us: we reply within one working day.
The platform
- What is Almenara?
- A GRC (governance, risk and compliance) platform to manage third parties, continuity, incidents and compliance on one inventory and one set of evidence, plus a team that delivers fixed-scope services. Evidence uploaded once counts for every standard that requires it.
- Which organisations is it for?
- Any organisation with security obligations: one that certifies or maintains a standard, one that sells to the public sector, a financial entity with its regulator, or a company whose customers assess it as a supplier. The framework catalogue shows every framework you can use.
- Do I have to take all four modules?
- No, but that is where the real value is: the modules share data and each one feeds the others. You can start with one and add the rest whenever you like.
- Does Almenara certify?
- No. Certifications are issued by accredited certification bodies. Nor do we internally audit a system we have implemented or manage.
- Do you use artificial intelligence?
- AI suggests and a person decides, as you can see in the module demos. We are developing and training our own models to do it: they will arrive as a platform update and, on your own servers, will run locally.
- Does it integrate with other tools?
- You can sign in with your corporate Google or Microsoft account, and bring your data in from spreadsheets with the platform’s import templates. If you need another integration, ask us in the meeting.
Your data and deployment
- Where is the data hosted?
- You choose: as SaaS, on a machine just for your organisation in European Union data centres, or on your own servers. The security page explains each option and where the proof is.
- What do I need to install it on my own servers?
- It is installed on your infrastructure, with set-up and maintenance handled by our team. We give you the technical requirements with the proposal.
- Can I take my data with me if I leave Almenara?
- Yes. You can export the Statement of Applicability as PDF, Word or Excel and download the documents and evidence you store in the platform. The deadline for handing over your data and its deletion at the end are set out in the contract.
How to buy it
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on the modules, the scope (how many suppliers, processes or standards), whether you want it as SaaS or on your own servers, and the services you add. We do not publish rates because two organisations are rarely alike: after a meeting we send you a fixed proposal, with the amount for each part in writing. SaaS is a subscription; on your own servers, a set-up fee and a monthly fee.
- Are services included in the platform?
- No. The platform includes the modules you take, the supplier portal, updates and initial training. Services are delivered by our team and priced separately, in the same proposal if you want them; they can also be bought without the platform.
- Can I try it before buying?
- We show it to you with a sample of your data in a meeting, so you see how your case would look before deciding. And the demo on this site shows the whole chain without talking to anyone.
- How long does onboarding take?
- Account set-up and initial training come with the contract. If you add data migration, the initial supplier review or a first service, the timeline is in the proposal.
- How long is the contract and how do I cancel?
- The term and the cancellation notice are in the proposal, in writing, before you sign.
- What support do I get?
- The support channel and scope are in the proposal. Platform updates are included.
Suppliers and contact
- Is it free for suppliers?
- Yes. Answering questionnaires in the supplier portal costs them nothing.
- How do I get in touch?
- From the contact page: to ask for information on a topic, a meeting or a proposal, or if you want to become a partner.
